answer : 4407,4408

because 8815/2 = 4407.5 so you take away the .5 to find one number and you add .5 for the other

Answer:

4407 and 4408

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Call one of the numbers x, and the other x + 1 (because a consecutive number is one that follows another).

2. Equal the sum of those two numbers to 8815, solve for x.

x + x + 1 = 8815

Combine like terms.

2x + 1 = 8815

Subtract 1 from both sides.

2x = 8814

Divide both sides by 2

x = 4407

3. If x = 4407, then x + 1 = 4408.

and a list of numbers the pattern increases by 0.001 as you move to the right if the third number list is 0.0 64 what is the fir
Ksivusya [100]

Answer:

  0.062

Step-by-step explanation:

The numbers will decrease by 0.001 as you move the the left, so the list of numbers can be found as ...

  3rd number: 0.064

  2nd number: 0.064 -0.001 = 0.063

  1st number: 0.063 -0.001 = 0.062

IMPORTANT <br><br>[how do you]Find sin theta if tan theta = 3/4
zvonat [6]
\bf tan(\theta )=\cfrac{\stackrel{opposite}{3}}{\stackrel{adjacent}{4}}\impliedby \textit{let's find the \underline{hypotenuse}}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\textit{using the pythagorean theorem}\\\\&#10;c^2=a^2+b^2\implies c=\sqrt{a^2+b^2}&#10;\qquad &#10;\begin{cases}&#10;c=hypotenuse\\&#10;a=adjacent\\&#10;b=opposite\\&#10;\end{cases}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;c=\sqrt{3^2+4^2}\implies c=5&#10;\\\\\\&#10;sin(\theta )=\cfrac{\stackrel{opposite}{3}}{\stackrel{hypotenuse}{5}}

bear in mind that, though the square has two valid roots, one negative and one positive, the hypotenuse is just a radius distance, and therefore is never negative.

Find the equation of the tangent line. y=(9-x^2)^1/3 at (1,2)
Schach [20]

Get the derivative:

<em>y</em> = (9 - <em>x</em>²)¹ʹ³

d<em>y</em>/d<em>x</em> = 1/3 (9 - <em>x</em>²)⁻²ʹ³ d/d<em>x</em> [9 - <em>x</em>²]

d<em>y</em>/d<em>x</em> = 1/3 (9 - <em>x</em>²)⁻²ʹ³ (-2<em>x</em>)

d<em>y</em>/d<em>x</em> = -2/3 <em>x</em> (9 - <em>x</em>²)⁻²ʹ³

Evaluate it at <em>x</em> = 1 :

d<em>y</em>/d<em>x</em> (1) = -2/3 • 8⁻²ʹ³

Since 8 = 2³, we have

8⁻²ʹ³ = 1 / 8²ʹ³ = 1 / (2³)²ʹ³ = 1 / 2² = 1/4

Then the tangent line has equation

<em>y</em> - 2 = 1/4 (<em>x</em> - 1)   →   <em>y</em> = 1/4 <em>x</em> + 7/4
