On October 1st 1949, Mao Zedong , the leader of the Chinese revolution ,addressed a large crowd in Tiananmen Square, Beijing establishing the layground of a new nation: The People’s Republic of China. The moment became trascendental as appeared in the People’s Daily the following day.

As the Chinese were able to establish a centralized state, with a planned economy that would foreseek the future of inland Chinese.

Practically the dissident forces were defeated,and the Japanese occupation had been finally expelled,a very strong goverment took form in a burocratich machine. Almost all industries were taken and run by the state.

The changes were inspired by the Marxist teachinigs , and will for some decades remain uncontestested until China incorporated a market mixed economy while retaining the Communist party as the single apparatus.
