There is only one number that satisfies x=4x, meaning the a number quadrupled is the same number.

That number is 0.

I guess if you want to be technical, then the square root of any negative number would also work. The square root of a negative number doesn't exist, it is what is called an "imaginary number". So in a way an imaginary number would be the same as four times an imaginary number.

If you want to get deep, then there's another case that works. Infinity. Which is a greater value, one infinity or four infinities? They're the same thing because they both never end.

One cup of grated, fresh Parmesan cheese weighs 3 ounces. How many cups of grated cheese can you expect to get from a 4.5-poun
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

9 cups

Step-by-step explanation:

If one pound is equal to 2 cups, then you would multiply 2 by 4, which gives you 8. If one pound equals 2 cups, then half a pound equals 1 cup. So since we already have 8 cups, you just add one more cup, which gives you 9 cups total

SUMMARY: You can expect to get 9 cups of grated parmesan cheese from a 4.5-pound block.

How to find the arc length (geometry)
andrew11 [14]

Answer:

94.2

Step-by-step explanation:

Arc length is basically circumference.

Circumference formula: 2πr

All we need is the radius.

Radius = r

15 x 2 = 30 (diameter)

Then we are going to multiply by pi.

Arc length = 30π OR 94.2
