Suppose you are given two angles A and B in which angle a is equal to angle b. If the measure of a compliment of angle a is equa

l to 5x+20 and the measure of angle b equals 3x+40, what is the measure of a supplement of angle

5x + 20 = 90 - a = 90 - (3x + 40)
5x + 20 = 90 - 3x - 40 = 50 - 3x
5x + 3x = 50 - 20
8x = 30
x = 30/8 = 15/4

b = 3(15/4) + 40 = 45/4 + 40 = 51.25
The measure of a supplementary angle is 180 - 51.25 = 128.75

lana66690 [7]

The computation shows that the amount will be 44.70 Dollars.

How to illustrate the information?

The options are missing: Here are the missing options:

A. 44.70 US dollars

B. 73.06 US dollars

C. 136.87 US dollars

D. 140.41 US dollars

For solving this question first we will convert the USD to euros.

The conversion rate we have is:

1 euro = 1.3687 USD

250/1.3687 = 182.655 euros

Now we will subtract it from what he has spent:

= 182.655 - 150

= 32.655 euros

Now we will again convert it back to USD. This will be:

32.655 euros * 1.3687 = 44,695 us dollars

Therefore, the answer is 44.70.

Which values of s are solutions to the inequality? s>−10 Select each correct answer. A. 8 =−2 B. 8 =−8 C. 8 =−18 D. 8 =−
Serga [27]
It would make a lot more sense if the choices were 's' instead of '8'. With that being said, the answer should have a value that is greater than -10. That would be a positive number, or a negative number from -1 to -9. So, the acceptable answers would be A and B.

Answer:

since -5 and -5 are the same number, they are on the same y axis so the only distance we need to calculate is between the X coordinates

so when looking for distance you can not have a negative what |-3|+|9| is looking for is the distance from 0 on the X axis since distance can't be negative, (you go 3 miles away from your house in one direction, vs 3 miles in the opposite both ways is positive, even with opposite directions same with axis, it doesnt matter which way, only the number.) you need the absolute value of -3 to get the distance from the 0 on the x axis

short version: distance is positive and its adding the distances from the x axis to get distance from each other
