So the degree of a polynomial is by the term with the highest combined power. In this case, the term with the highest combined power is -6x^3y^2. With this term, add 3 and 2 together since they are the two powers in this term, which make 5.

And because the combined powers equal 5, this polynomial is 5th degree.

A variable is normally distributed with mean 6 and standard 2 deviation .
Tju [1.3M]

The normal distribution is also known as the Gaussian distribution. The percentage of all possible values of the variable that are less than 4 is 15.87%.

What is a normal distribution?

The normal distribution, also known as the Gaussian distribution, is a symmetric probability distribution about the mean, indicating that data near the mean occur more frequently than data distant from the mean. The normal distribution will show as a bell curve on a graph.

A.) The percentage of all possible values of the variable that lie between 5 and 9.

P(5<X<9) = P(X<9) - P(5<X)

               = P(z<1.5) - P(-0.5<z)

               = 0.9332 - 0.3085

               = 0.6247

               = 62.47%

B.) The percentage of all possible values of the variable that exceed 1.

P(X>1) = 1 - P(X<-2.5)

          = 1-0.0062

          = 0.9938

          = 99.38%

C.) The percentage of all possible values of the variable that are less than 4.

P(X<4) = P(X <4)

           = P(z<-1)
           = 0.1587

           = 15.87%

What is credit?
zvonat [6]

When I took the test, I selected "C. an arrangement in which you receive money now and pay it back later with fees" but I got it wrong. So I'm pretty sure the answer is "A. an arrangement in which you receive money, goods, or services now in exchange for the promise of payment later"

The pattern 2, 5, 17, ________, ________ follows the rule multiply by 4, then subtract 3. What are the next two terms?
vitfil [10]

Answer:

None of the answer choices.

Step-by-step explanation:

The pattern to this problem is multiply by 4, and subtract 3. However when doing 17 * 4, you get 68. Look how both of the answer chouces start with 68, and we haven't even subtracted 3 yet. This shows that the answer choices are wrong.
