Answer: 1/257300

Step-by-step explanation:

Let S= total number of sample space

Let D= defective parts

Let ND= Non- defective parts

Let Pr(D) = probability of defective parts in the box

Let Pr(ND) = PROBABILITY OF non-defective parts

S= 250

D = 5

ND= 250 – 5

= 245

Pr(D) =5/250

= 1/50

Pr(ND) = 245/250

= 49/50

The probability of picking 3 parts that will be defective without replacement is

Pr(D₁) n Pr(D₂) n Pr(D₃)

Pr(D₁) = 5/250

Pr(D₂) = 4/249

Pr(D₃) = 3/248

= 5/250 × 4/249 × 3/248

= 60/15438000

= 1/257300

Translate the following sentence into an algebraic inequality: Three times a number, v, added to eight is greater than or equal
Kazeer [188]

Hi there!

»»————- ★ ————-««

I believe your answer is:

3v + 8 \geq  22

»»————- ★ ————-««

Here’s why:

⸻⸻⸻⸻

\boxed{\text{Breaking down the phrase...}}\\\\\text{Three times a number, v, added to eight is greater than or equal to twenty-two. }\\------------------\\\rightarrow \text{"Three times a number, v..."} - 3v \text{ This expresses the product of '3' and 'v'.}\\\\\rightarrow \text{"added to eight..."} - + 8 \text{ The product gets added to eight.}\\\\--------------\\\text{The First Part Is:}}\\\\3v + 8\\---------------\\\rightarrow \text{is greater than or equal to twenty-two. } - \geq 22

\text{The value of '3v + 8' is greater than or equal to 22.}\\---------------\\\text{\underline{Putting it together, we would have:}}\\\\\boxed{3v + 8 \geq 22}}

⸻⸻⸻⸻

Hope this helps you. I apologize if it’s incorrect.

How do i do this Please Help!
pantera1 [17]
You need to put all of the fractions in the middle to start. The top one should be 1/100. Right after 1/10 should be, in order 1/8, 1/5, and 1/4.

Then you can find the numbers in the first column by dividing all the numbers in the middle.

Finally you can find all the numbers in the last column by multiplying the first column by 100.
