N -0.125= 4.1
⇒ N= 4.1+ 0.125
⇒ N= 4.225

Final answer: N= 4.225~

Well, lets add 0.125 to 4.1.

We would get 4.225.

Finally we can check.

4.225-0.125= 4.1

How did we get it? What i did is I did the opposite. Instead of subtracting 0.125 I added it.

N= 4.225

Is the system of equations is consistent, consistent and coincident, or inconsistent? y=4x−4y=−4x+4 Select the correct answer fr
Luba_88 [7]

Answer: It is consistent as the lines are intersecting lines and it has a unique solution

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given two systems of equation :

y=4x-4\\\\and\\\\y=4x+4

We need to check whether the system of equations is consistent or inconsistent.

As we know the formula for checking the consistency :

\frac{a_1}{a_2}=\frac{b_1}{b_2}=\frac{c_1}{c_2}

In first equation we have

y=4x-4\\\\4x-y=4\\\\Here,a_1=4,b_1=-1,c_1=4

similarly,

In the second equation we have

y=-4x+4\\\\4x+y=4\\\\Here,a_2=4,b_2=1,c_2=4

So, According to question, we have

\frac{1}{4}\neq \frac{1}{-1}\neq \frac{4}{4}\\\\0.25\neq -1\neq 1

Hence, it is consistent as the lines are intersecting lines and it has a unique solution.

Find the inverse of the function f(x)=8^x
ludmilkaskok [199]

Answer:

y = logx/log8

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the inverse of an equation, you switch the locations of x and y, then solve for y.

So in this case, f(x) = y, and your equation is:

y = 8^x

It would become

x = 8^y

There are multiple ways to solve this- one I usually use is logs, so you take the log of both sides.

log x = ylog8

(when you take the log of something the exponent becomes a coefficient)

Then, y = logx/log8

I hoped this helped!

During the fall, the deli counter in a grocery store offers a rice blend made of wild rice costing
Zinaida [17]

If an employee has already measured out 59 pounds of wild rice. The  number of pounds of long grain brown rice should she add to make the blend is: 88.5 pounds of long grain.

<h3>Number of pounds of long grain</h3>

Let x represent number of pounds of long grain

6.45×59+3.95x=(59+x)×4.95

380.55+3.95x =292.05+4.95x

380.55–x =292.05

-x=292.05-380.55

-x = -88.5

x = 88.5 pounds of long grain

OR

6.45×59+3.95x=(59+x)×4.95

x=(6.45-4.95)×59

x=1.5×59

x=88.5 pounds of long grain

Therefore If an employee has already measured out 59 pounds of wild rice. The  number of pounds of long grain brown rice should she add to make the blend is: 88.5 pounds of long grain.
