1. Area: pi x r^2

Radius: 6.9m

Area: 3.14 x 6.9^2

Area: 149.5m

2. Area: pi x r^2

Radius: 150ft

Area: 3.14 x 150^2

Area: 70,650ft

3. Area: pi x r^2

Radius: 8in

Area: 3.14 x 8^2

Area: 200.96in

Area: pi x r^2

Radius: 2in

Area: 3.14 x 2^2

Area: 12.56in

200.96/12.56 = 16

Therefore, it will take 16 4 inch diameter cookies to equal the area of one giant cookie.

Can someone help me turn this into an inverse function? f(x) = 6-3x. and some explanations pls, bcuz Im still lost on this topic
sweet [91]

Answer:

y=-\frac{x-6}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the inverse function, switch the y and x

y=6-3x  becomes  x=6-3y.

Now, rearrange so that the equation is equal to y.

x=6-3y\\x-6=-3y\\-\frac{x-6}{3} =y

Hope this helps!

Rewrite the following expression in logarithmic form and use that to solve for the variable. Show all work done in this process.
Llana [10]

Answer:

ln(e^x)=ln(3)

x=1.099

Step-by-step explanation:

You have the following exponential expression:

2e^x=6

You need to divide both sides of the equation by 2:

\frac{2e^x}{2}=\frac{6}{2}\\\\e^x=3

Now apply the function Natural logarithm to both sides of the function:

ln(e^x)=ln(3)

Note that now the exponential function is transformed into a logarithmic function.

By definition:

ln(e^x)=x Because the base of the Natural logarithm is the Euler's number "e".

Then you can solve for "x":

x=ln(3)\\x=1.099)

A regression analysis involved 8 independent variables and 99 observations. The critical value of t for testing the significance
liraira [26]

Answer:

Option b = 90 degrees of freedom.

Step-by-step explanation:

So, in this particular Question we are given the following parameters or data or information which is going allow us to be able to solve this particular problem or Question;

=> "A regression analysis involved 8 independent variables"

=> "99 observations. "

Requirement : to determine the critical value of t for testing the significance of each of the independent variable's coefficient.

Hence, the formula below will used in Calculating or in the determination of the degree of freedom;

Degree of freedom= total number of observations - number of independent variables- 1.

Thus, slotting bin the values into the formula above, we have;

The degree of freedom = 99 - 8 - 1 = 90.
