Answer:

I know i'm late, but you're welcome!

Zachariah. He is the chef of the Seahawk, the surgeon, and the only black man on the ship. He is about 50 years old, is originally from Africa, can't read, and knows very little about Christianity.  He is also as it turns out the closest ally of Charlotte on the Seahawk. Zachariah gives a dirk to Charlotte for protection and sews a miniature set of sailor clothes for her.  It turns out that he's one of the nicest, if not the nicest, guys on the ships. His bond with the child passenger starts very soon. To all the other passengers, he is very much friendly. To any of the passengers, it might not look like all that, however, he tries.

Which word in the sentence is the predicate adjective? On stormy days, the sky looks very threatening.
pantera1 [17]
The answer is B. because it shows how it looks. C. is confusing because you think of stormy as an adjective, but it's actually just a verb because it IS storming.

Hope I helped!

Select the phrase from the drop-down menu to correctly define the word Frugivores in the sentence.
kodGreya [7K]
A and B are both good answer but B makes more since because in the sentence it says Frugivores live near their food so they don’t have to fly far, also Frugivores eat bananas from trees and berries so (B) is the answer.
