1) first find the ratio of gallons to minutes which is 150/6=25, so 25 gallons a minute.now divide 20,000 by 25=800 and that is the answer
2)so, we found the proportion 25:1 or 25 gallons a minute
3)we do the same thing we did for find, find the ratio per square feet 700/2=350, next we divide 1960 by 350. that should get you 5.6

Answer:

f(x) = x(x-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The easy way to do this is to look at it graphically. an inverse function is reflected across the line y=x. f(x)=x(x-1) is an upward opening parabola when reflected, there are two y-values for all positive values of x. A function can only have one y for every x.

On a scale drawing with a scale of 1 cm: 3 m , the height of a tree is 5 cm. How tall is the actual tree?
Neko [114]
In 3 metres there are 300 centimetres. Each centimetre on the scale is 300 centimeters, or a ratio of 1:300. The tree is 5 centimetres on the scale. Each centimeter on the scale is 300 centimetres, therefore 5 centimetres on the scale is 1500 centimetres. 1500 centimetres is equal to 15 metres.
