The most important way in which the greeks influenced American democracy was by allowing citizens to participate in government.

All members of society both rich and poor except for women were able to participate in government. Ancient Greece was a model for the U.S. government, but the founders left a few things out.

Very significant aspects of the American political system (from popular referendums to secret ballots to jury duty) derive from ancient Greek precedents.

The most important way in which the Greeks influenced American democracy was by allowing citizens to participate in government.

Further Explanations:

The term democracy is stated from the Greek term “Demos” implying people's rule. It actually means to establish a government with representatives elected by the inhabitant of the nation. All the members of the nation regardless of their caste, creed gender or social status are allowed to participate in the election of their representative.

United States is amongst the nation practicing a democratic type of administration. It is said the American framers were heavily inspired by the Athenian democratic administration developed during the 5th century BCE. The only difference in them is that America is practicing representative democracy, unlike Athenian direct democracy. The framers were so much inspired that they too developed voting system and City-State community structure of polis. Ruled and regulation framed are in written form and are amended with time.

How many factory workers were dying each day during 1882?
slava [35]

Answer:

The Massachusetts Bureau of Statistics of Labor was the pioneering and pace‑setting agency among the states. Its first annual report in 1870 described accidents to children working in textile mills, paper mills and other establishments. Throughout the 1870s and 1880s, primarily under the leadership of Carroll Wright who was appointed Commissioner of Labor Statistics in 1873, the bureau mailed questionnaires to employers and sent investigators out to observe conditions first‑hand. Working conditions varied widely and the annual reports presented a mixed picture. In 1871 the bureau found that ventilation in the Lowell Mills was poor because the windows had to be kept closed during the manufacture of certain types of fabric. In 1873, however, the bureau reported that improvements there in factory architecture, machinery, and ventilation had reduced the threats to the operatives’ health. The next year investigative agents went into most of the state's textile mills, checking machine guarding, ventilation, protection of shafting, fire escapes elevators, and amounts of air space per worker. They found shafting and machines guarded fairly well, though air space was not always adequate. Most of the mills were pronounced to be in good order.2
