Principles of structuralism are aspects of Structural psychology which was developed by Wilhelm Wudt. He defined structural psychology as a theory of consciousness.
He defined Introspection which he also called "internal perception" as a process in which an individual examines their own conscious experience (thoughts and feelings) as objectively as possible.
