Answer:

13112221

Step-by-step explanation:

Each sequence of numbers is a verbal representation of the sequence before it. Thus, starting with 1, the next sequence would be "one one," or "11." That sequence is followed by "two one," or "21," and so on and so forth.

This may also be a good explanation:

The first number is just ONE (amount) "1" (0-9 numeral). So if you say there's ONE "1" (seriously just say it aloud) the next number would be an 11. Then there are TWO "1's", creating 21. Then ONE "2" and ONE "1" which creates 1,211. Then ONE "1", ONE "2", and TWO "1's" creating 111,221 ... and so on.

The first number 1 is read as one one, so the second number is written as 11, this is read as two ones, so the next number is written as 21 ( two ones)

This continues throughout the sequence.

The last number written is 312211 which is read as one three, one one, two twos, two ones

This gets written as 13112221

27/3 = 9

9/3 = 3

3/3 = 1

3 · 3 · 3 = 27

4g + 3(-3 + 4g) = 1-g. Solve the equation. Can someone help me ASAP. I'm confused
Olegator [25]
4g+3(-3+4g)=1-g
Distribute the 3(-3+4g)
4g-9+12g=1-g
Add 4g and 12g
16g-9=1-1g
Add 1g and 16g (variables always have an invisible 1 in front)
17g-9=1
Add 9 and 1
17g=10
Divide both sides by 17 and the answer is g=10/17

Roland's Boat Tours sells deluxe and economy seats for each tour it conducts. In order to complete a tour, at least 14 economy s
dmitriy555 [2]
At least 14 economy and at least 5 deluxe...total of 45 seats. He makes a bigger profit from selling economy seats....so we need the most economy seats we can get.

45 seats - 5 deluxe = 40 economy

so the most profit would be 40 economy and 5 deluxe
40 economy = (40 x 30) = 1200 profit
5 deluxe = (5 x 25) = 125 profit
for a maximum profit of : $ 1325

Show that the equation x^3+6x-5=0 has a solution between x=0 and x=1
Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer:

Since the value of f(0) is negative and the value of f(1) is positive, then there is at least one value of x between 0 and 1 for which f(x) =0.

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation f(x) given is:

f(x) = x^3+6x-5

For x = 0. the value of the expression is:

f(0) = 0^3+0-5\\f(0) = -5

For x = 1, the value of the expression is:

f(1) = 1^3+6-5\\f(1)=2

Since the value of f(0) is negative and the value of f(1) is positive, then there is at least one value of x between 0 and 1 for which f(x) =0.

In other words, there is at least one solution for the equation between x=0 and x=1.
