Truly i would just keep the array count one of the width sides and one of the length sides and multiply them together

A rectangular room has an area of 131 1/4 square feet. The length of the room is 12 1/2 feet. What is the width, in feet, of the
Vsevolod [243]
Before we try to solve anything, let's convert our fractions into decimals, this so if we use a calculator (or writing on paper), it will be much easier to put it.
131 1/4 = 131.25 (divide 100 by the denominator to know each 1/x value).
12 1/2 = 12.50
The formula for the area of a rectangle is L x W, or Length x Width.
Since we are looking for our width, w, we need to divide by the length.
131.25 / 12.5 = 10.5.
Our width is 10 1/2 ft.
I hope this helps!

The class has n students, and n is an even number. The students are forming teams to work on their homework. Each team has exact
yuradex [85]

Answer:

Distinct ways  in which they all can form the teams for the class = n(n-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Total numbers of students = n (even number)

Number of student in each team = 2

Number of distinct ways are there to form the teams for the class:

P^{n}_{k}=\frac{n!}{(n-k)!}

where = n = number of elements  = n

k = number of elements choose = 2

P^{n}_{2}=\frac{n!}{(n-2)!}=\frac{n\times (n-1)\times (n-2)!}{(n-2)!}

=n\times (n-1)

Only answer 28 ( I added this parentheses so that the thing would accept my question)
avanturin [10]

Answer:

(a). Number of protons in a chlorine atom = 17

(b). Atomic number of sodium = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of protons in a sodium atom = <em>x</em>

Then, the number of protons in a chlorine atom =<em> x</em> + 6

Now, it is given that the atomic number of an element is equal to the number of protons per atom.

So, atomic number of sodium (Na) = <em>x</em>

Atomic number of chlorine (Cl) = <em>x</em> + 6

It is given that the atomic number of chlorine is 5 less than twice the atomic number of sodium.

∴ atomic number of chlorine (Cl) = 2 × atomic number of sodium (Na) - 5

⇒ <em>x</em> + 6 = 2<em>x</em> - 5

⇒ <em>x </em>- 2<em>x</em> = -5 - 6

⇒ -<em>x</em> = -11

Cancelling the minus sign from both sides, we get

<em>x</em> = 11

(a). Number of protons in a chlorine atom = <em>x</em> + 6

                                                                     = 11 + 6      (∵ <em>x</em> = 11)

                                                                     = 17

(b). Atomic number of sodium = <em>x</em> = 11
