Answer:

The hard defeat suffered by the Imperial Army of Japan ended its expansion plans for the Pacific.  In the opposite way, the Midway battle began the offensive operations of the US Navy during World War II.

Explanation:

Hello!

Within the framework of World War II, the battle of Midway took place between June 4 and 7, 1942 in the Midway Atoll, where the United States had a military base.

The intention of Admiral Yamamoto, who was in charge of the Japanese Army, was to attack that military base to damage the US naval fleet. With this, he thought he could prevent the American navy from interfering with the Japanese expansion campaign, which was developing in East and Southwest Asia.

As a result of the battle, the Japanese army that participated in combat was practically destroyed, considerably weakening its power.

Answer:

"And most young children today, believe it or not, spend as much time watching television as they do in the schoolroom." (paragraph 4)

And

"If parents, teachers, and ministers conducted their responsibilities by following the ratings, children would have a steady diet of ice cream, school holidays, and no Sunday school." (paragraph 5)

OK o for the first one it's pretty obvious that school plays a big role in the development of children, so something that kids do fir the same mount of time as school each day shows the influence.

And the second one shows what would happen if we all lived like TV and what would happen to the kids if we did.

Ksivusya [100]

The discussion between William McKinley and William Jennings Bryan in the race of 1896 based on monetary concerns like the best quality level and defensive taxes. McKinley and the Republicans needed the United States to remain on the "highest quality level," while Bryan and the Populists upheld the "free silver" development to help the poor agriculturists of the South and West and to help haul America out of the sadness that it had been in since 1893.
