Answer:

Fairness at the workplace and tackling discrimination help to attract, motivate, and retain multi-generational employees as well as improves the reputation of the employer. It is important for an organisation (employer) to have strict policies that deals with age discrimination and to implement those policies effectively. Encouraging mentorship within a workplace by pairing workers of different ages, will allow workers of any age to pass their experiences (upwards and downwards) and help others develop through their unique knowledge and skills. Therefore older employees can pass their knowledge and skills to newer employees and vise versa.

Explanation:

According to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967(ADEA), it is illegal to discriminate against workers age 40 and up. Age discrimination is illegal at any stage of employment, this include during hiring, promotions , raises and layoffs.

olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

So, a writ of habeas corpus is a court order to bring a person who’s been detained to court to determine whether or not their detention is valid. It’s a failsafe to prevent the government from imprisoning people without cause. The writ of habeas corpus originated in Medieval English common law. It’s difficult to say exactly where it first appeared in writing, but it was most famously codified in the 1215 Magna Carta, which granted all free men protection against illegal imprisonment.
