What is the median for the set of data shown
klemol [59]

Answer: OPTION C

Step-by-step explanation:

 By definition, the median is the middle number in the set.

Therefore, keeping the definition  above on mind, to solve this problem the numbers must be arranged from least to greastest. In the figure shown in the problem, you can see that they are already arranged in this order. Therefore, the middle number in the set is:

14, 28, 33, 42, 53, 81, 97

Then, you can conclude that the median is: 42.

Therefore, the answer is the Option C.

Need help on all these questions!!
Yuki888 [10]

Okay, so YZ = 3 cm.  You have XM correct. And YM = 0.5.

Now, you have the midpoint M at the correct spot.

Use Pythagorean's theorem o find the length of AB.  a² + b² = c²   a=6,  b=8.

6² = 36   8² = 64    36 + 64 = 100      AB = 10!

If AB = 10   then AM = 5    MB also = 5

If B is the midpoint of AC,  C would be 12 rows down from A, and 16 columns to the right. The last spot where the line intersects.

There are your answers!

Tasya [4]
I'm not completely sure about this answer but here is what I got: 100•15=1500 for one day of the food booth. 50•22=1100 one day for the game booth. 1500+(x9) and 1100+(x8). (1500+x)+(1100+x)=x
