Perpendicular is when the slopes multiply to negative 1

remember
the slope of the line in form
ax+by=c is -a/b

find slopes

2x+ky=6
slope is -2/k

6x-4y=12
slope is -6/-4=3/2

so

-2/k times 3/2=-1
solve for k
-6/(2k)=-1
times both sides by 2k
-6=-2k
divide by -1
3=k

k has to be 3

The problem wants to calculate the possible value of  K that the first equation should be perpendicular to the second equation. First you must transform the both equation in to y slope intercept form or y = mx+b. By means of that you can identify its slope. The slope of the second equation is 6/4 so the first equation slope must be equal to the reciprocal of its slope and should be 3/2. So the value of K = 3.

Answer:

- 2 ≤ n < 8

Step-by-step explanation:

The closed circle at - 2 indicates that n can equal - 2

The open circle at 8 indicates that n cannot equal 8

Otherwise n can be all value between - 2 and 8 including - 2, thus

- 2 ≤ n < 8

Answer is 24.

firsty remember OF= MULTIPLY

NOW we can calculate this easily

here the equation is given

2/5×60. u can solve this in given ways below….…..

1……….

u can simply divided 60 by 5. which is equal to 12. and now the equation remain 2×12 . & it's equal to 24. which is our answer.

2……….

u can write 2/5 in decimals by dividing this . so 2/5 is equal to 0.4

and now u r left with 0.4×60

so after multiplying it comes 24.0

and that is equal to 24. (because after decimal zeros has no value)

3……….

and u also can multiply 2 by 60 . it occurs 120 then devide it by 5 . the answer comes 24.

The answer is II and III, which is the last choice from above.  This is because the symbol "less than (or equal to)" indicated a conjunction, which means we have to take into account that the absolute value can be less than or equal to 15, and greater than or equal to -15.  This solution set falls in between the two values, hence, the conjunction.
