Simplifying 12 + -6i = 0 Solving 12 + -6i = 0 Solving for variable 'i'. Move all terms containing i to the left, all other terms to the right. Add '-12' to each side of the equation. 12 + -12 + -6i = 0 + -12 Combine like terms: 12 + -12 = 0 0 + -6i = 0 + -12 -6i = 0 + -12 Combine like terms: 0 + -12 = -12 -6i = -12 Divide each side by '-6'. i = 2 Simplifying i = 2

HELP! ASAP! 4x+3y=12 (find the x and y-intercepts to graph.
Greeley [361]

Y intercept (x = 0)

4(0)+3y=12

3y = 12

y = 12/3

y = 4

X intercept (y = 0)

4x+3(0)=12

4x = 12

x = 12/4

x = 3

R/ The intercept with x is (3,0) and with y (0,4)

12 possible outcomes
any number less than 9 is 8 and below
8 sides of the dice are less than 9 out of 12 total sides

The average cost per unit C(x), in dollars, to produce x units of toy cars is given by C(x)=(8000)/(x−50)C(x)=(8000)/(x−50). Wha
podryga [215]
C(x)= \frac{8000}{x-50}

gives an average cost per unit, if we want to produce x of them.

So for example, we want to produce 500 toy cars for our store, and we need a price per unit (per 1 toy car). What we do is we calculate C(500).

So to calculate the cost of one unit when producing 1250, we calculate C(1250)

C(1250)= \frac{8000}{1250-50}= \frac{8000}{1200}=6.67 $ is the cost of 1 toy car.

State whether the given measurements determine zero, one, or two triangles.
Lady bird [3.3K]
I bet you're doing the Law of Sines right now. If you use the law of sines you find out that angle A is a 90 degree angle. There is only one triangle you can make with these measurements because if you have one angle of 30 and another of 90, the 3rd angle has to be a 60 degree angle. So it is a special right triangle, 30-60-90
