Answer:

Molar mass of the following elements are :

Ca = 40.078 g/mol

Xe = 131.293 g/mol

Fe = 55.8455 g/mol

Au = 196.966 g/mol

Explanation:

Molar Mass = It is the mass of 1 mole of a particular atom.

 • Mass of 1 mole of substance measured in grams is called molar mass.
 • It is calculated by adding atomic masses of the constituent atoms(g/mol)
 • In given elements only 1 atom is present so atomic mass = molar mass
 • Atomic mass of Ca = 40.078 amu , molar mass 40.078 g/mol
 • Atomic mass of Xe = 131.29 amu, molar mass = 131.29 g/mol
 • Atomic mass of Fe = 55.84 amu , molar mass = 55.84 g/mol

Look at the following point :

Atomic mass : It is the mass of single atom . It is the sum of masses of the subatomic particles(proton , neutron and electron) present in the atom. It is exactly equal to 1/12 of mass of C-12 atom.

Atomic mass is expressed in amu.

Mole = It is the quantity which represent the amount of particle present in 12 gram of C-12.

Atomic mass(amu) into grams:

1 gram of C-12 = 12 atoms of C

= 1.9929\times 10^{-23}

mass of 1 atom of C =

=\frac{1}{12}1.9929\times 10^{-23}

= 1.66\times 10^{-24} gram

So , 1 amu =

= 1.66\times 10^{-24} gram

What part of the cell is a cop
Tanya [424]

Answer: This is from a wiki i found. Approximately one third of a cell’s proteins are destined to function outside the cell’s boundaries or while embedded within cellular membranes. Ensuring these proteins reach their diverse final destinations with temporal and spatial accuracy is essential for cellular physiology. In eukaryotes, a set of interconnected organelles form the secretory pathway, which encompasses the terrain that these proteins must navigate on their journey from their site of synthesis on the ribosome to their final destinations. Traffic of proteins within the secretory pathway is directed by cargo-bearing vesicles that transport proteins from one compartment to another. Key steps in vesicle-mediated trafficking include recruitment of specific cargo proteins, which must collect locally where a vesicle forms, and release of an appropriate cargo-containing vessel from the donor organelle (Figure 1). The newly formed vesicle can passively diffuse across the cytoplasm, or can catch a ride on the cytoskeleton to travel directionally. Once the vesicle arrives at its precise destination, the membrane of the carrier merges with the destination membrane to deliver its cargo. Have a nice day.

There are 12 liters of nitrogen gas in a sample. How many moles of N2 in this sample?
Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

0.54 moles of N2

Explanation:

First remember to find the volume in moles, 1 mole equals 22.4 liters.

So now use the dimensional analysis to show your work.

12 liters of N2 * 1 mol /22.4 liters of N2

Now calculate this. 12 * 1/22.4 or 12/ 22.4

12/22.4 = 0.535714286.

12 has two significant digits.

With that, The answer rounds to 0.54.

So that the final answer is 0.54 moles.

Hope it helped!

Why should we not throw water in petrol fire
kaheart [24]
~Hello there! ^_^

Your question: Why should we not throw water in petrol fire..?

Your answer: We should not throw water in the petrol fire because oil, petrol etc are a bit weightless than water so it continues to flow over the water.

Hope this helps!
