Which excerpt from The Odyssey best shows that the ancient Greeks greatly valued the idea of home? My home is on the peaked sea-

mark of Ithaca under Mount Neion's wind-blown robe of leaves, in sight of other islands—Dulichium, Same, wooded Zacynthus—Ithaca being most lofty in that coastal sea, And this new grief we bore with us to sea: our precious lives we had, but not our friends. No ship made sail next day until some shipmate had raised a cry, three times, for each poor ghost unfleshed by the Cicones on that field. They fell in, soon enough, with Lotus-Eaters, who showed no will to do us harm, only offering the sweet Lotus to our friends— but those who ate this honeyed plant, the Lotus, never cared to report, nor to return: I drove them, all three wailing, to the ships, tied them down under their rowing benches, and called the rest: ‘All hands aboard; come, clear the beach and no one taste the Lotus, or you lose your hope of home.’

This part of the excerpt reflects of the importance of home to the Greeks:
I drove them, all three wailing, to the ships, tied them down under their rowing benches, and called the rest: ‘All hands aboard; come, clear the beach and no one taste the Lotus, or you lose your hope of home.’
It was such a big deal that the sailors who tasted the flowers lost sense of coming back home which resulted in them being tied down.

Can someone just right my speech on bullying plz
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

There are people in this world that believe bullying has no effect on the victim. But as a matter of fact, those people are very wrong. Bullying can lead to various things such as anxiety, depression, and in a few cases, s u i c i d e. (Brainly wont let me post that word) What you say, really does matter. If you've ever been bullied, you know how it feels, being tormented so much that you would do anything to stop it. Not wanting to ever be around the place where you often see them, because you have no idea what they would do to you this time. There are 2 main types of bullying that go on face to face, rather than cyber bullying, which is an entire topic of its own. Verbal, and Physical. Verbal bullying is essentially where the Bully is speaking, yelling, etc, to or about the victim in such a way that could make them have the effects mentioned prior, but not involving physical contact for the most part. For physical bullying however, the victim is likely being pushed, punched, having their hair pulled, etc. The reasons that people are so cruel to those around them vary, but a large factor is that they may have something else going on, making them feel something similar to how they want to make you feel. People say it's so clichè, but it's actually very true. In fact, studies say that 97% of bullies come from violent homes. If ever, you feel that you are being bullied, make sure that you go through B.T.S, and no, not the k-pop group. BTS stands for Both, Type, and Severity. Both-Are you both going back and forth, arguing? Or is it just them doing it to you? Type- Is it verbal, physical, or cyber? Severity-How bad is the bullying? If the person only says one slightly rude thing to another person, theres a very, very slight chance that nobody is being bullied in that situation. If, however, you or someone you know are being bullied, no matter what type, no matter if you dislike the victim, tell an adult. Start with parents, who would usually go very much out of their way for their child. If or when they don't listen, try a teacher, counselor, older sibling, anybody who you think could help. You have to keep trying until people listen to you, believe you, and do something to feix the bullying because if no one does, then how long could it go on for? How bad could it get? And most importantly, how bad could the effects of this really be?
