There would be 12 pieces because if you only have one foot long sandwich and cut it in to 1/3's you would have 3 pieces and just multiply 4 by 3 and you'll get 12

About 12 servings.

If each serving is 1/3 a foot long and the whole sandwich is 4 feet long, all we need to do to find the answer is divide 4 feet/1/3 of a foot to figure out how many servings the sandwich will make.

Hope this helps! Would love brainliest if possible;)

Find the final cost to the employer.
Lena [83]
The correct answer is A) $75.85.

A discount of 20% means that the cost is 80% of the original.  80%=80/100=0.8

0.8(129) = 103.20

A discount of 30% means that the cost is 70% of the amount before discount.  70%=70/100=0.7
0.7(103.20) = 72.24

A sales tax of 5% means that it is 105% of the amount pre-tax.  105%=105/100=1.05
1.05(72.24) ≈ 75.85

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The distance from the school to the library is 12 miles.

The distance from the school to the park is 75% of this distance.

The distance from the school to the park = 75% of (distance from the school to the library)

Sam and Paul started a business. Their investments were in the ratio 6:7, respectively. How much did Paul invest if Sam's invest
Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

$966

Step-by-step explanation:

Sam's investment = 828

Paul's investment will be temporarily marked as x.

We need to divide 828 by 6 = 138 to find the result, x.

We multiply that by 7. 7 x 138 = 966.

We can write in 3 different ways:

828 : 966

828/966

(or in fraction form, I don't have a fraction line.
