Answer: Probability can be best described as the chance of occurring favorable number of outcomes out of the total number of outcomes.

In other words, it is the likelihood or chance of occurring an event. Probability can be expressed in terms of percentage ( value lies between 0% to 100%), decimal or fraction ( value lies between 0 to 1).

Example- Chance of getting a head after tossing a coin is 50%. Therefore, probability of getting a head is 50%.

The scale used to measure the intensity of ice storms is called the Sperry–Piltz Ice Accumulation Index, <span>based on the expected footprint of an ice storm, the expected ice accumulation as a result of a storm, and the expected damage a storm inflicts on human-built structures.

Meteorologists use Dual Polarization Radar, and the Q2 a mix of sensors and algorithms to predict precipitation.

Yes ice storms can be predicted by weather agencies, and it depends how fast it is detected and how severe it is.

Witch step of cellular respiration will not take place in the absence of oxygen
Over [174]

The answer is; glycolysis

This process converts glucose molecule to pyruvate. It is an oxygen-independent pathway, unlike the Krebs cycle. Glycolysis occurs in the cell cytoplasm while the Krebs cycle (aerobic pathway) occurs in the mitochondria. In the presence of oxygen, the product of glycolysis, i.e pyruvate, is fed to the Krebs cycle.  If oxygen is unavailable the pyruvate is converted to lactate.

What is the relationship between photosynthesis and cellular respiration?
scoundrel [369]

Answer:

Photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and glucose.

Explanation:

Glucose is used as food by the plant and oxygen is a by-product. Cellular respiration converts oxygen and glucose into water and carbon dioxide. Water and carbon dioxide are by- products and ATP is energy that is transformed from the process.
