Trigonometry
ozzi

Answer:

3√3

Step-by-step explanation:

If sinx = 4/8, find Cos (6x)

we need to first find cos

but applying trigonometry rule

sin²x+cos²x = 1

sinx = 4/8

sin²x = (4/8)² = 4²/8² = 16/64

from the rule

cos²x= 1 -sin²x = 1-16/64 = 64-16/64 = 48/64 = 3/4

cos²x = 3/4

cos x = √3/4 = √3/2

cos 6x = 6 x √3/2 = 3√3

A charity fundraiser has collected $750 in donations and plans to sell magazine ads to exceed its goal of $1200. Each ad will pr
sashaice [31]

Hi!

The first thing I would do is see how much the charity has to make to exceed its goal. To do that, I would subtract how much they've already made from their goal.

1200 - 750 = 450

Now, since each ad provides 25 dollars, and the charity wants to exceed its goal, add 25 to 450, to get 475. (What they have to make to exceed their goal)

Now, just find how many ads must be made, or how many 25 dollars, go into 475, by dividing 475 by 25.

475/25 = 19 ads

Of course, if you get this question wrong and instead its 18 because your teacher stated they weren't supposed to exceed the goal and instead just meet it, you can question their wording of the problem.

Hope this helped!

Many families in California are using backyard structures for home offices, art studios, and hobby areas as well as for addition
Natalija [7]

Answer:

-0.75

Step-by-step explanation:

To get the z score we have to use this formula

Z = X-mean/standard deviation

X = 2300

Mean = 3200

The standard deviation = 1200

When we plug these values into the z formula above, we have:

2300-3200/1200

= -900/1200

= -0.75

the z-score for a backyard structure costing $2,300 is therefore -0.75
