Biologists, studying energy production in a group of frog muscle cells , observe that ATP formation in the cells can be substant
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

<u><em>Oxygen</em></u>

Explanation:

Cellular respiration can be described as a process by which cells produce carbon dioxide and water from oxygen and glucose. Huge amounts of ATP is generated by this process. This ATP is used to carry out the normal functions of a cell.

If the oxygen supply to the frog species becomes low, then the process of cellular respiration will also slow down. Hence, by altering the amount of oxygen, the amount of ATP can be altered.
