So, the probability of a student passing French 101 is 0.8

We are looking the probability of 2 both event occur , so we have to multiply the probability of both events.  

Probability that a student selected at random will pass both French 101 and French 102= P passing French 101* P passing French 102

P= 0.8*0.76= 0,608‬
