Transposable elements are considered to be responsible for vast range of genome diversity and gene silencing.

Explanation:

Transposable elements are short sequences of DNA that have the ability to move from one location to another in the genome. During this process they copy themselves.

The entire process carried out by transposable elements to copy themselves and move from one location to another is called transposition.

Transposition may result in mutation and is potentially a major source of genome diversity and change. If a transposon inserts itself into the coding region of a gene,it interrupts the coding sequence and inactivates the gene expression.

In addition to this, a transposable element may contain transcription or translation termination signal that will block the gene expression downstream of insertion site.

What is the relationship between internal human body temperature and pathogenic<br> bacteria?
agasfer [191]

Answer:

Please view my answer below.

If you like it, you can mark it as Brainliest. Thanks!

Explanation:

<em><u>Our internal body temperature is regulated by a part of our brain called the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus checks our current temperature and compares it with the normal temperature of about 37°C. If our temperature is too low, the hypothalamus makes sure that the body generates and maintains heat.</u></em>

Explain the process in which hormones secreted by the pancreas function with respect to increased glucose levels in the blood
KiRa [710]

Answer:

Gastrin: This hormone aids digestion by stimulating certain cells in the stomach to produce acid. Glucagon: Glucagon helps insulin maintain normal blood glucose by working in the opposite way of insulin. It stimulates your cells to release glucose, and this raises your blood glucose levels.

During which stage of interphase does the cell grow to nearly its full size? (3 points)
svetoff [14.1K]
This occurs during protein synthesis. This is because the cell continues to protein synthesise, therefore adding to the amount of cells.

I hope this helps.
