How do u graph y = x + 4

Mathematics

On your graph, you have the y axis (up and down) and the x axis (left and right).

The equation says y and +4, so start by making a point on the positive 4 on the y axis.

For the slope, you have to use rise over run.

run will always equal to 1

we only have the variable x in the equation, so x will also equal to 1.

Slope = (rise/run) 1/1 = 1

Hope this helps

If the dimensions of a rectangular prism are 3 cm , 4 cm, and 10 cm, then it’s surface area is
Scrat [10]

Answer:

As Per Provided Information

Dimensions of rectangle prism are 3 cm , 4 cm and 10 cm .

We have been asked to determine it's surface area.

\underline{\boxed{\bf \: Surface \: Area_{(Rectangular \: Prism)} = 2(lw + hl + hw}}

where,

w denote width

h denote height

l denote length

\longrightarrow\sf \: Surface \: Area_{(Rectangular \: Prism)} = \: 2(3 \times 4 + 4 \times 10 + 10 \times 3) \\  \\  \\  \longrightarrow\sf \: Surface \: Area_{(Rectangular \: Prism)} = \:2(12 + 40 + 30) \\  \\  \\  \longrightarrow\sf \: Surface \: Area_{(Rectangular \: Prism)} = \:2(82) \\  \\  \\  \longrightarrow\sf \: Surface \: Area_{(Rectangular \: Prism)} = \:164 \:  {cm}^{2}

HELP. DONT ANSWER IF NOT 100% SURE. WILL GIVE BRANILEIST ASAP!
ehidna [41]

Answer:

B.

{ \tt{f(x) =  \sqrt[3]{x + 11} }}

let the inverse of f(x) be m:

{ \tt{m =  \sqrt[3]{x + 11} }} \\ { \tt{ {m}^{3}  = x + 11}} \\ { \tt{ {m}^{3}  - 11 = x}} \\ { \tt{ {f}^{ - 1}(x) =  {m}^{3}  - 11 }}

substitute for x in place of m:

{ \bf{f {}^{ - 1}(x) =  {x}^{3} - 11  }}
