Answer:

  cosine theta equals negative square root of three over two; tangent theta equals negative square root of three over three

Step-by-step explanation:

If the angle were a 1st-quadrant angle, it would be ...

  arcsin(1/2) = π/6

and the other functions would be ...

  cos(π/6) = (√3)/2

  tan(π/6) = 1/√3 = (√3)/3

__

The angle of interest is in the second quadrant, where the signs of cosine and tangent are negative. Hence, ...

  • θ = 5π/6
  • cos(5π/6) = -(√3)/2
  • tan(5π/6) = -(√3)/3

a worker at a mill is delivering 5lbs bags of flour to a local warehouse, each box holds 12 bags. If the warehouse orders 3 tons
ivolga24 [154]
I'm pretty sure that u multiply 12 and 5 and u get 60 and that's in only one box just 60lbs then u find how many pounds in a ton which is 2,000 then u have 3 tons so multiple 2,000 and 3 and u get 6,000 so then u divide 60 and 6,000 and u get 100 I'm pretty sure that's how u do it

What is the rate of change between the interval of x = 3 pi over 2 and x = 2π?
galina1969 [7]
Check the picture below.

\bf slope = m = \cfrac{rise}{run} \implies
\cfrac{ f(x_2) - f(x_1)}{ x_2 - x_1}\impliedby
\begin{array}{llll}
average~rate\\
of~change
\end{array}\\\\
-------------------------------\\\\
\begin{cases}
x_1=\frac{3\pi }{2}\\
x_2=2\pi
\end{cases}\implies \cfrac{f(2\pi )-f\left( \frac{3\pi }{2} \right)}{2\pi -\frac{3\pi }{2} }\implies \cfrac{3-1}{\frac{4\pi -3\pi }{2}}\implies \cfrac{2}{\quad \frac{\pi}{2}\quad }\implies \cfrac{4}{\pi }

In blueprints an architects firm drew everything 1/24 of the actual size the windows will actually measure 4feet by 6 feet and t
stich3 [128]
To apply a scale to a measure, you have to follow this rule:

Real measure x Scale = Scaled measure

So the drawings will have:

4 x 1/24 = 0'167 feet
6 x 1/24 = 0'25 feet
<span>Windows: 0'167 by 0'25 feet
</span>
<span>12 x 1/24 = 0'50 feet
</span><span>8 x 1/24 = 0'33 feet
</span>Doors: 0'33 by <span>0'50 feet</span>
