ive you a low rating therefore dropping your popularity.
There are three different types of percent concentrations, a) mass percent (m/m), b) volume percent (v/v), and c) mass/volume percent (m/v). The units for mass are normally in grams while the units for volume are normally in mL.

Answer:

The answer to your question is 14.3 %

Explanation:

Data

volume of ethanol = 50 ml

volume of water = 300 ml

volume percent = ?

Formula

Percent by volume = (volume of solute/volume of solution) x 100

Volume of solute = 50 ml

volume of solution = 300 + 50 = 350

Substitution

Percent by volume = (50/350) x 100

Simplification and result

Percent by volume = 14.3 %

At 20.°C, a 1.2-gram sample of Mg ribbon reacts rapidly with 10.0 milliliters of 1.0 M HCl(aq). Which change in conditions would
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer: (2) decreasing the concentration of HCl(aq) to 0.1 M

Explanation: Rate of a reaction depends on following factors:

1. Size of the solute particles: If the reactant molecules are present in smaller size, surface of particles and decreasing the size increases the surface area of the solute particles. Hence, increasing the rate of a reaction.

2. Reactant concentration: The rate of the reaction is directly proportional to the concentration of reactants.

3. Temperature: Increasing the temperature increases the energy of the molecules and thus more molecules can react to give products and rate increases.

(1) Increasing the initial temperature to 25°C will increase the reaction rate.

(2) Decreasing the concentration of HCl(aq) to 0.1 M will decrease the reaction rate due to lesser concentration.

(3) Using 1.2 g of powdered Mg will increase the reaction rate due to large surface area.

(4) Using 2.4 g of Mg ribbon will increase the reaction rate due to high concentration of reactants.

Interstellar space has an average temperature of about 10 K , and an average density of hydrogen atoms of about one hydrogen ato
Bas_tet [7]

Answer:

2.2508\times 10^{19} m meter the mean free path of hydrogen atoms in interstellar space.Explanation:

The mean free path equation is given as:

\lambda =\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}\pi d^2 n}

Where"

d = diameter of hydrogen atom in meters

n =  number of molecules per unit volume

We are given: d = 100 pm = 100\times 10^{-12}= 10^{-10} m

n = 1 m^{-3}

\lambda =\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}\pi (10^{-10} m)^2\times 1 m^{-3}}

\lambda =2.2508\times 10^{19} m

2.2508\times 10^{19} m meter the mean free path of hydrogen atoms in interstellar space.
