Answer: 624

Step-by-step explanation: We know the width is 104 inches and that the length is twice that. So since 104 times 2 = 208 the length must be 208

to get the perimeter we must add length + length + width + width

so 104 +104+208+208 if we add 104 + 104 =208 so...

208+208+208= perimeter or 208 times 3 = perimeter

so multiply 208 times 3 and you will get 624 which is the perimeter

hope this helps mark me brainliest if it did

Find the product of (3 x 109) and (2 x 109). Write the final answer in scientific notation.
chubhunter [2.5K]

The  product of (3 x 109) and (2 x 109) in scientific notation is 6*10^9

What is scientific notation?

scientific notation can be described as the expression in the form a x 10^b where a is a number or decimal number a is greater than or equal to one.

(3 x 109) * (2 x 109) =6*10^9

Therefore, option D is correct.

Alisha has a $15,000 car loan with a 6 percent interest rate that is compounded annually. How much will she have paid at the end
Harlamova29_29 [7]
6 percent intrest per year for 5 years I think is the same as 30 percent for 5 years
so $15,000 x .3 is $4500
$15,000 + $4500 = $19,500
not 100 percent sure if this is correct but I think its right.
Sorry if I am wrong not 100% sure.

slader (a) Find parametric equations for the line through (4, 1, 8) that is perpendicular to the plane x − y + 4z = 2. (Use the
Pavel [41]

Answer:

(x(t), y(t), z(t)) = (4 + t, 1 - t, 8 + 4t)

xy - plane    (x, y, z) = (2, -1, 0)

yz - plane    (x, y, z) = (0, 5, -8)

xz - plane     (x, y, z) = (5, 0, 12)

Step-by-step explanation:

The given point (x, y ,z) = (4, 1, 8)

The plane x -y + 4z = 2

Normal vector (n) = < 1, -1, 4 >

The equation of line through point (4, 1, 8) and the plane is:

(x(t), y(t), z(t)) = (4, 1, 8) + t(1, -1, 4)

(x(t), y(t), z(t)) = (4 + t, 1 - t, 8 + 4t)

Any point on the line P(x, y, z) = ( 4 + t, 1 - t, 8 + 4t)

xy-Pane ⇒ z = 0

8 + 4t = 0

4t = - 8

t = -8/4

t = -2

∴

(x, y, z) = (4 - 2, 1 - 2, 8 + 4(-2))

(x, y, z) = (2, -1, 0)

yz-plane ⇒ x = 0

4 + t = 0

t = -4

∴

(x, y, z) = (4 + (-4) , 1-(-4), 8 + 4(-4)

(x, y, z) = (0, 5, -8)

xz-plane ⇒ y = 0

1 - t = 0

-t = -1

t = 1

∴

(x, y, z) = ( 4 + 1, 1 - 1, 8 + 4(1) )

(x, y, z) = (5, 0, 12)
