This problem can be solved using proprtions. Once you set up the proportion, the calculations are easy.

Let x = number of pens made in 1 second.

\frac{9pen}{3sec} = \frac{xpen}{1 second}

Now, you just cross multiply and solve.

9 = 3x

x = 3

The rate is 3 pens per second.

13 = m/4 + 7 can you show work too
lukranit [14]

The correct value of this equation is m = 24

Resolution method

This equation contains a fractional term. We note that the denominator of this equation is the term 4. Therefore, we will multiply the sides by 4:

13 = m/4 + 7

13 . 4 = 4(m/4) + 7 . 4

52 = m + 28

Now, let's isolate the variable "as negative" and after the equality - we'll be subtracting the terms:

52 = m + 28

-m = 28 - 58

-m = -24

m = 24

Therefore, the correct value of this equation will be m = 24

In the context of relationships between variables, increases in the values of one variable are accompanied by increases in the v
TiliK225 [7]

Answer: Directly proportional.

Step-by-step explanation:

The increase of one variable which causes the other variable to increase points to a directly proportional relationship between the two variables. Similarly, the decrease of one variable will cause a decrease in the other variable.

One variable can also be the constant multiple of the other. This means that if one changes, the other one will change in PROPORTION to it.
