Easy!!

So, We want the area of the square, and the two trapezoids around it!

Square Formula = b*h

Trapezoid formula = 1/2(b^1+b&2)

First of all, to find the area of the square:

Do 20*12
= 240 in^2

Second of all, to find the area of the trapezoid:

Do 10(12+30)
= 420 in^2

To find the area of the whole banner, add them up!

= 420 + 420 + 240 = 1080

So, The answer should add up to 1080.
The answer is probably "B"

The midpoint of chord AB is ( , ), and the slope of chord AB is
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

See solution below

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the coordinate's of A and B be (1, 0) and (2,4) respectively

midpoint M (X, Y) = [(x1+x2/2, y1+y2/2)]

X = x1+x2/2

X = 1+2/2

X = 3/2

X = 1.5

Y = y1+y2/2

Y = 0+4/2

Y = 4/2

Y = 2

Hence the required midpoint (X, Y) is (1.5, 2)

Slope m = y2-y1/x2-x1

m = 4-0/2-1

m = 4/1

m = 4

Hence the slope is 4

Note that the coordinates are assumed but the same calculation can be employed for any other coordinates
