This is asking what number that is at least three digits will have a 4 left over if you divide it by 40. basically take 40 and multiply it with any number bigger than 2 then add 4. some examples are 124, 164, 204 etc

It took an ice cream 28 minutes to drive through one neighborhood. The truck stopped driving through the neighborhood at 2:05 pm
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

Starting time: 1:37

Step-by-step explanation:

Instead of proof to solve the problem, let us prove that the starting time above is correct;

1. There are 60 minutes in an hour, so 60 - 37 = the minutes 'till 2:00, or 23 minutes

2. Knowing that the time the truck stopped driving through the neighborhood was 5 minutes past 2:00, the minute difference being 23 + 5, or <em>28 minutes</em>

<em>Proved: 28 minutes</em>

-2x + 3y = 1
Andre45 [30]

Answer:

-2x+3y =1.......(1)

y=3x-9........(2)

Now,

putting the value of y in equation (1),

-2x+3(3x-9)=1

or,-2x+9x-27=1

or,7x-27=1

or,7x=28

x= 4

Now putting the value of X in equation (2),

y=3×4-9

= 12-9

=3

(x,y)=(4,3)

Just Need A Few Questions Answered To Finish My Quiz, Any Help Would Be Much Appreciated.

Given the triangle

PQR

with points

P(8,0)

Q(6,2)

R(-2,-4)

And the triangle

P'Q'R'

with points

P'(4,0)

Q'(3,1)

R'(-1,-2)

Part A. Scale factor

Using the vertex

P( 8, 0)

P'(4,0)

the dilatation factor is given by

\frac{4}{8}=\frac{1}{2}

The triangle has a dilatation factor of 1/2

Part B:

P''Q''R'' after using P'Q'R' reflected about the y axis

to make a reflection over the y axis

coordinates (x,y) turn into coordinates (-x,y)

as follows

P^{\prime}(4,0)\rightarrow P^{\prime\prime}(-4,0)Q^{\prime}(3,1)\rightarrow Q^{\prime\prime}(-3,1)R^{\prime}(-1,-2)\rightarrow R^{\prime\prime}(1,-2)

Then triangle P''Q''R'' has coordinates

P''(-4,0)

Q''(-3,1)

R''(1,-2)

Part C:

PQR is congruent to P''Q''R''?

Congruent triangles are triangles that have the same size and shape. This means that the corresponding sides are equal and the corresponding angles are equal.

Then the triangles are not congruent
