I really need help and I have to show my work
Amanda [17]
10 lbs/$12= 1 lb/x dollars.
If you rewrite it up and down and not slanted, it would be clearer to understand, but anyways, you cross multiply:
12*1=12
12/10= 1.2
So the answer is 1.2, if you put it on that bubble sheet, put 1, then a decimal, after the decimal 2, and then all 0's,.

S=(1 r)<br> c. find c if s = r 174 and r= 45%
stepladder [879]
The question is incorrect because of the apparent contradiction the question makes.
First statement says that a quantity S is equal to quantity r.
The second statement says that S = 174r.
Moreover, the quantity C is not correctly linked with the equation. Please either correct the question or explain the ambiguity.

Simplify the expression. (3.14×107)×(1.3×10−3)÷0.2<br> Scientific notation PLS!
marusya05 [52]

3.14 \times 107 = 335.98
(335.98) \times (1.3 \times 10 - 3) \div 0.2
1.3 \times 10 = 13 - 3 = 10
(335.98) \times (10) \div 0.2
335.98 \times 10 = 3359.8
3359.8  \div 0.2 = 16799
1.6799 \times  {10}^{4}
