Explanation: La universidad de Panamá es conocida también por tener gatos adornando las diversas facultades de la universidad, pero la facultad de ciencias naturales, exactas y tecnología de  esta universidad es una de la que mas tiene este tipo de animales en los alrededores.

Estos animales son cuidados continuamente por las personas de la universidad y muchos han expresado que los gatos no presentan ningún tipo de problema. Se podía interpretar el uso del gato como logo como una forma de destacar por cual motivos se le conoce esta facultad, asociando también que en esta facultad se encuentra la carrera de veterinaria y que el utilizar algún animal representa la asociación con la terminología en el área de la salud.
