For this case we have the following functions:

m (x)

p (x)

Where,

x: independent variable

m, p: dependent variables

For the value of x = 7 we have:

m (7)

p (7)

For this case it is true that:

m (7) = p (7)

Therefore, both functions have the same output argument for the same input value.

Answer:

C) Both m (x) and p (x) have the same output value at x = 7.

Order the following integers from least to greatest.-41, -53, -73, -78 A. -78, -53, -73, -41 B. -78, -73, -41, -53 C. -73, -78,
irakobra [83]

The value of negative integers decreases the further we get from the 0 point on the number line.

Therefore, if we arrange the numbers in ascending order ignoring the negative sign, the numbers will be in descending order when the negative sign is included.

By the definition above, we can say that the smallest number of the lot is -78 and the largest one is -41.

The numbers can be ordered from least to greatest as shown below:

-78,-73,-53,-41

C = .25t +3.50 in 'C' dollars for 't' minutes. How much does it cost to rent the canoe for 1 hour?
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer and Step-by-step explanation:

We know that t is in minutes, and 1 hours is equal to 60 minutes, so we plug in 60 for t.

C = 0.25(60) + 3.50

C = 15 + 3.50

C = 18.50

The cost to rent the canoe is $18.50.

Can you explain please I don’t understand?
Angelina_Jolie [31]

don't be alarmed the two lines just mean absolute value, the problem is asking what is m. the problem is asking what number multipyed by 2, subtracted by 1 will give you 3?

2x2=4 right?

so 4-1=3 there!

m=4

so the problem is 2(4)-1=3

i hope i explained well enough!

Please help don’t understand
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

r = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

If we clearly observe a point and the slope of the line are given.

Point=(5, -6) slope= -5

We know that the equation of the line having slope m and passing through point (x_{1} , y_{1}) is

y-y_{1}=m(x-x_{1})

Now the equation of the line is y-(-6)=(-5)*(x-5)

y+6=-5x+25

5x+y=19

Now given that (3,r) lies on this line

5*3+r=19

r = 4
