A pole is 65 feet tall. A support wire is attached to the top of the pole and secured to the ground 33 feet from the poles base.

Find the approximate length of the wire.

X^2=65^2+33^2
X^2=4225+1089
X^2=5314
The square root of 5314 = 72.897

So by using the pythagorean theorem the answer is 72.897
