Well to make it easier i will make 3/4 equilvilent to 1/12
so 4 * 3= 12 so then that means i times 3*3=9
so 3/4=9/12
and if each bag is 1/12 pounds then Jackson can fill 9 whole bags with trail mix

Answer:

9 bags of trail mix can Jackson fill.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Jackson wants to divide a \frac{3}{4} pound box of trail mix I to small bags. Each of the bags will hold \frac{1}{12} pound of trail mix.

To find : How many bags of trail mix can Jackson fill?

Solution :

Each of the bags will hold \frac{1}{12} pound of trail mix.

Total Jackson wants to divide a \frac{3}{4} pound box of trail mix.

Number of bags trail mix can Jackson fill is

n=\frac{\frac{3}{4}}{\frac{1}{12}}

n=\frac{3\times 12}{4}

n=3\times 3

n=9

Therefore, 9 bags of trail mix can Jackson fill.
