Answer:

The number of general admission tickets sold was 21 and the number of VIP tickets sold was 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x ----> the number of general admission tickets sold

y ----> the number of VIP tickets sold

we know that

x+y=33 ---> equation A

70x+105y=2,730 ----> equation B

Solve the system of equations by graphing

Remember that the solution is the intersection point both lines

using a graphing tool

The solution is the point (21,12)

see the attached figure

therefore

The number of general admission tickets sold was 21 and the number of VIP tickets sold was 12

If each unit on the grid represents 1 foot, what are the lengths of each side of each leaf? Round to the nearest tenth of a foot
svlad2 [7]
The length of each side of each leaf is about 5.7.

I assume the the side you are looking for is the outside diagonal side.

To find this, you can use the Pythagorean Theorem for half the distance.

2^2 + 2^2 = c^2
4 + 4 = c^2
8 = c^2
2.828 = c

Now, multiply this by 2 because we only found half of the complete side.
The length is about 5.7 units.
