Answer:

When an electric heater is used.

Explanation:

A possible scenario would be the use of an electric heater, where electric power is transformed into thermal energy that will increase the temperature of a room.

The Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy can not be created nor destroyed, it can only be transformed or transferred from one form of energy to another. If we apply this law to our scenario we can appreciate that the electric power is transformed in a different type of energy known as thermal energy.

Answer

Step 1

Toy 1 = 0.953

Toy 2 = 2.177

Step 2

Toy 1 = 953g

Toy 2 = 2177g

Explanation

Since we know that 1kg = 2.2026, if we divide 1kg by 2.2026, we get how much 1 pound is equal to. We then times that by the weight of the toy, and we get the weight in kg.

Toy 1

2.2046 lbs = 1 kg

2.1 lbs = ?

2.1 lbs = \frac{1}{2.2046} X 2.1

= 0.9525

To the nearest thousandth = 0.953

Toy 2

2.2046 lbs = 1 kg

4.7 lbs = ?

4.7 lbs = \frac{1}{2.2046} X 4.8

= 2.177

To the nearest thousandth = 2.177

Step 2

To convert kilograms to grams, we times the kg total by 1000, to get the mass in grams. (1kg = 1000g).

Toy 1

0.953 x 1000 = 953g

Toy 2

2.177 x 1000 = 2177g

Which of these veins returns blood to the superior vena cava:?
IRISSAK [1]
The superior vena cava (SVC) is the superior of the two venae cavae, the great venous trunks that return deoxygenated blood from the systemic circulation to the right atrium of the heart. It is a large-diameter (24 mm), yet short, vein that receives venous return from the upper half of the body, above the diaphragm.

A genotype is...
Luda [366]

Answer:

Option A is absolutely correct

Explanation:

The genotype of an organism is its complete set of genetic material. However, the term is often used to refer to a single gene or set of genes, such as the genotype for eye color. The genes partly determine the observable characteristics of an organism, such as hair color, height, etc.

In a broad sense, the term "genotype" refers to the genetic makeup of an organism; in other words, it describes an organism's complete set of genes. In a more narrow sense, the term can be used to refer to the alleles, or variant forms of a gene, that are carried by an organism.
