Answer: 15.89%

Explanation:

Since no discounts were taken, this company made your job a whole lot easier because if we are for instance assuming a 365 day year then you simply take the base period of payments which is 58 days in this scenario and divide by 365.

So it would come out like,

= 58/365

= 15.89%

If you need any clarification just drop a comment. Cheers.

lesantik [10]

Answer:

a.The efficiency of the WiFi system will depend upon the usage and the speed of internet provided by the ISP (Internet Service Provider). Keeping in mind that the town have 1,000 households the network to choose will need to be fast and reliable also each household should be allowed to download a certain amount of DATA via internet so that the each household can get benefit from the WiFi System.

b. If each household is willing to pay $50 per year the contribution received will be $50×1,000 = $50,000. So the cost of WiFi system will be recovered.

c. If the town keeps tracks of the contributions and ask the household to contribute at least $20 per year so yes the total cost of WiFi system will be recovered. $20× 1,000= $20,000

Explanation:

PV = FV ÷ (1 + r/n)^(t × n)........(1)

PV = present value

FV = Future value

r = rate per period

t = number of years

n = number of compounded period per year

FV = P(1 + r/n)^(t×n)...............(2)

FV = Future value

P = principal

r = rate per period

n = number compounded period per year

t = number of year

NO 1.

P= $600

t = 1

n = 1

r = 6% = 0.06

Using equation 2

FV = 600(1 + 0.06/1)^(1 × 1) = $636

NO 2

P = $600

n = 1

t = 2

r = 0.06

Using equation 2

FV = 600(1 + 0.06/1)^(2 × 1) = $674.16

NO 3.

FV = $600

r = 0.06

t = 1

n = 1

Using equation 1

PV = 600 ÷ (1 + 0.06/1)^(1 × 1) = $566.04

NO 4.

FV = $600

r = 0.06

n = 1

t = 2

Using equation 1

PV = 600 ÷ (1 + 0.06/1)^(2 × 1) = $534
