Answer:

Total distance covered by the taxi will be 130 km

Step-by-step explanation:

A taxi travels 25 kilometers east of an airport.

Then it travels form that point to a point that is 40 kilometers west of the airport.

Finally when taxi returns to the airport total distance covered by the taxi will be = 25 km to the East + 25 km back to the airport + 40 km to the west + 40 km back to the airport

Total distance covered will be = 25 + 25 + 40 + 40

= 180 km.

Therefore, answer will be 130 km.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

V=P(1+r/c)^{(ct)}\\ \\ V=P(1+.06/2)^{(2t)}\\ \\ 1000=500(1.03)^{(2t)}\\ \\ (1.03)^{2t}=2\\ \\ 2t=ln2/(ln1.03)\\ \\ t=ln2/(2ln(1.03))\\ \\ t\approx 11.7 years

Since 1 litre is 1000 millilitres, we can convert it to 1000 millilitres. So, we can subtract 375 millilitres from 1000 millilitres. Which will give us the answer of 625 millilitres.
