An exponential function repeatedly multiplies an initial amount by the same positive number called the constant ratio. For example, this is commonly used in geometric sequences and the constant ratio is the ratio between all the numbers in the sequence. I will put an example below:

Find the constant ratio of the geometric sequence:

2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64

Divide each number to the one before it.

4 / 2 = 2

8 / 4 = 2

16 / 8 = 2

32 / 16 = 2

64 / 32 = 2

So, the constant ratio is 2 between all the numbers.

Best of Luck!

Rachel and her friends are making necklaces out of beads and straws. They plan to use 12 beads and 5 straws for each necklace. T
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

225 necklaces.

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming that they have the necessary amount of straws to match the beads then we can use the following simple equation to solve this problem.

t = b/12 ... where t is the total amount of necklaces and b is the number of beads you have

t = 2700 / 12

225 necklaces.

For 225 necklaces you would also need 1125 straws since each necklace requires 5 straws to be fully made. Therefore if you have this amount you should not run into any problems.

Brian has 16 yards of chain measured and cut at the. Hardware store. The chain will cost him 47.52$ how much is that per food? _
mojhsa [17]
3 feet= 1 yard

16*3= 48 feet.

47.52/48= 0.99

It will cost Brian $0.99 per foot.

Find the unit rate.

49.50/50= 0.99

No, it wouldn't. It would be the same price

0.99=0.99
It doesn't matter which one Brian chose.

I hope this helps!
