One pound is 16oz. So you take 54 and minus it by 16 until you get something less that 16. Then you take how many times you subtracted it, and that is how many pounds. Then you take the "leftover" number and they you have your answer.
so Sarita used 3 pounds and 8 oz.

64.8=6(m+2.9) <br> what is m<br> please help me and explain how did you get your answer
BabaBlast [244]

Answer:

= −11.2

Step-by-step explanation:

64.8=6(m+22)

We move all terms to the left:

64.8-(6(m+22))=0

We calculate terms in parentheses: -(6(m+22)), so:

6(m+22)

We multiply parentheses

6m+132

Back to the equation:

-(6m+132)

We get rid of parentheses

-6m-132+64.8=0

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

-6m-67.2=0

We move all terms containing m to the left, all other terms to the right

-6m=67.2

max2010maxim [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

d = c/pi

so d = 62.8/pi

    d = 62.8/pi or appr 19.99in

r = d/2

so r = 62.8/2pi or 31.4/pi appr 19.99/2

a = \pi  r^{2}

so

a = \pi *(31.4/\pi)^2

then

a = 985.96/pi

so

a = approximately 313.84

answer is rowan

A rectangular plot of farmland will be bounded on one side by a river and on the other three sides by a single-strand electric
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

A = 781250\,m^{2}, x = 625\,m, y = 1250\,m

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter covered by the electric fence in meters is:

2\cdot x + y = 2500

The area of the rectangle is:

A = x\cdot y

A = x \cdot (2500-2\cdot x)

Let differentiate the previous equation and equates to zero:

2500-4\cdot x = 0

The critical point is:

x = 625\,m

By the Second Derivative Text, it is proved that critical point lead to a maximum:

\frac{d^{2}A}{dx^{2}} = -4

The other side of the rectangle is:

y = 1250\,m

The largest area than can be enclosed is:

A = (625\,m)\cdot (1250\,m)

A = 781250\,m^{2}

The dimensions of the triangle are:

x = 625\,m

y = 1250\,m

Sides that match up between two similar figures are called corresponding sides.
Naily [24]

Answer:

A. Height of the Flag pole

B. Longest.

Explanation:

Two similar triangles have corresponding sides with the same ratio.

A smaller triangle is showing the shadow of a person and the larger one is showing the shadow of a flag.

Now the person's shadow in the smaller triangle corresponding to the Height of the Flag pole.

The longest side of the large triangle corresponds with the Longest side of the smaller triangle.
