Answer:

There are 25 students in the class after the changes

Step-by-step explanation

Let G= The total number of girls after the change

Let B= The total number of boys after the change

g/b=3/2

G+7/B-2=5/2

After cross multiplying  you get 5B-10=2B+14

and 3B=2B

Then you solve to get B=12. Then plug B back in any equation to get G=18.

Then plug your to number back in G+7/B-2=5/2 to get 18+7 and 12-2. Once you solve and add you get 25 students.

Answer:

B'(- 2, 2 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the translation rule (x, y ) → (x + 3, y - 2 )

This means add 3 to the original x- coordinate and subtract 2 from the original y- coordinate, that is

B(- 5, 4 ) → B'(- 5 + 3, 4 - 2 ) → B'(- 2, 2 )

If x+y=5,x-y=4,find the value of x²-y²
inysia [295]

Answer:

20

Step-by-step explanation:

→ First find the value of x and y

x + y = 5

x - y = 4

→ Add the equations to cancel out the y's

2x = 9

→ Divide both sides by 2 to find the value of x

x = 4.5

→ Substitute x = 4.5 back into x - y = 4 to find the value of y

4.5 - y = 4

→ Minus 4.5 from both sides to isolate -y

-y = -0.5

→ Multiply everything by -1

y = 0.5

→ Substitute x = 4.5 and y = 0.5 into x² - y²

4.5² - 0.5² = 20.25 - 0.25 = 20
