<u>Answer:</u> The solution of both the expressions are same which is 158

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Like terms are defined as the terms which have same variable. Mathematical operation are applied on these terms.

Unlike terms are defined as the terms which do not have same variable. Mathematical operation are not applied on these terms.

We are given an expression:

28x+14+4x+16       .......(1)

Simplifying the above expression, we get:

\Rightarrow 32x+30     .......(2)

We are given:

Value of x = 4

Putting this in expression 1, we get:

\Rightarrow (28\times 4)+14+(4\times 4)+16=158

Putting this in expression 2, we get:

\Rightarrow (32\times 4)+30=158

Hence, the solution of both the expressions are same which is 158

What is the approximate diameter of a sphere with a volume of 34 cm
Nutka1998 [239]

Answer:

<h3>The diameter is 4cm</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a sphere is

V =  \frac{4}{3} \pi {r}^{3}

Where r is the radius

diameter = radius × 2

To find the diameter we must first find the radius

Volume = 34cm³

That's

34 =  \frac{4}{3} \pi {r}^{3}  \\  \\ 34 \times 3 = 4\pi {r}^{3}  \\  \\ 102 = 4\pi {r}^{3}  \\  {r}^{3}   = \frac{102}{4} \pi \\  \\ r =  \sqrt[3]{ \frac{51}{2\pi}}  \\  \\ r = 2.01 \\  \\ r = 2.0 cm

Diameter = 2 × 2cm

<h3>= 4cm</h3>

Hope this helps you

Jane is painting her room. She mixes 3 pints of blue paint with 4 pints of red paint to get her desired color. Which equation ca
Lady bird [3.3K]
Well if she added three blue and four red originally, and is now using 16 red then we would divide 16 by the original four. Which means to get the number of blue we are gonna end up multiplying by four. So three times four is twelve. Which means she would use 12 blue and 16 red to get the same color she got with 3 blue and 4 red earlier. The equation, lets use x for blue and y for red, would be 4(3x + 4y) = desired color
