3 + -4x = 5(x +6)

Re-order the terms:

3 + -4x = 5(6 + x)
3 + -4x = (6 . 5 + x . 5)
3 + -4x = (30 + 5x)

Solving:

3 + -4x = 30 + 5x

Solving for variable "x"

Move all terms containing "x" to the left, all the other terms to the right.

Add "-5x" to each side of the equation.
3 + -4x + -5x = 30 + 5x + -5x

Combine like terms:
-4x + -5x = -9x
3 + -9x = 30 +5x + -5x

Combine like terms:
5x + -5x = 0
0 + -9x = 30 +0
3 + -9x = 30

Add "-3" to each side of the equation.
3 + -3 + -9x = 30 + 3

Combine like terms:
3 + -3 = 0
0 + -9x = 30 + -3
-9x = 30 + -3

Combine like terms:
30 + -3 = 27
-9x = 27

Divide each side by "-9".
x = -3

Simplifying:
x = -3

Someone please help me in math
Helga [31]
I just solved it and I'm pretty sure its only one solution, I took the bottom equation multiplied it by -3 then i canceled out the equations and got 9. So that would make it C.

Mikheal wanted to rewrite the conversion factor "1 yard = 0.914 meters" to create a conversion factor to convert meters to yards
Levart [38]
Divide both 1 yard and 0.914 meters by 1. 1x = 0.914y
Now, since you want 1 meter = "variable"
1 meter times 1 yard divided by 0.914 meters.
1 meter = 1.094 yards

a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

(150, 100) is the solution for the system of equations

Step-by-step explanation:

Without more context, I cannot give you an exact answer, but this graph shows the solution to a system of equations. When y is 100, x is 150.

Have a nice day!

I hope this is what you are looking for, but if not - comment! I will edit and update my answer accordingly.
