Muscarinic antagonists are the drugs which act on the humans by inhibiting the effect of acetylcholine neurotransmitter on muscarinic receptors in the central and peripheral nervous system.
When these drugs are taken in higher amount then they show side effects on the human body and the body shows the symptoms of the hyperthermia, urinary retention, tachycardia and many signs.
The studies have shown that the anticholinergic psychosis also shows the same symptoms like tachycardia and hypertension caused by the overdose of the same drugs.
