What’s the importance of Steagald v United States? And do you agree with the decision?
nlexa [21]

Answer:

The decision of the Supreme Court on Steagald v United States (1981) established that according to the Fourth Amendment, police officers can´t search for a suspect in a third party´s property without getting a search warrant first.

Explanation:

According to the Supreme Court, the search carried in the house of the petitioner, Gary Keith Steagald, which was conducted only with an arrest warrant for Ricky Lyons, and led to Steagald´s arrest, was a violation of the exclusionary rule stated in the Fourth Amendment that protects all citizens from illegal searches and seizures. I do agree with this decision because any effort to apprehend a suspect should never infringe nor his or a third party´s constitutional rights.

In one to two sentences, describe two or three reasons why an unlimited government might be challenging for citizens to adjust t
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:

explanation below

Explanation:

In an unlimited government, the control of power is entirely put in the hands of those that lead the country and the person’s appointees. The powers are usually limitless and the government in such areas usually operate with No constitution or with one that is weak. These can be seen in places that practice Monarchy, Dictatorship or Oligarchy.

The United States of America does not have unlimited government and they achieved limited government by separation of powers distributed among the legislative, executive and judiciary branches of the government.

Unlimited government will be very challenging for the citizens of America because there will be much corruption in the area. The citizens who are known to have a voice will not have a say in the affairs of the country. It would also be difficult for them to make decisions by voting such governments out.
